This is a policy provided for anyone interacting with the web services accessible electronically at www.assyrus.it, corresponding to the home page of the official Assyrus Srl website. The policy is provided for this site only and not for other websites users may consult via links.
The policy is provided pursuant to article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter: the “Regulation”) of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (General Data Protection Regulation, published on 4 May 2016 in the Official Journal of the European Union, in force since 24 May 2016).
The policy is also guided by Recommendation no. 2/2001 that the European authorities for the protection of personal data, gathered in the Working Party established by Article 29 of Directive no. 95/46/EC, adopted on 17 May 2001 to identify certain minimum requirements for collecting personal data on-line, and, in particular, the procedures, timescales and nature of the information that data controllers must provide to users when they connect to web pages, regardless of the purposes of the connection, and the Italian Data Protection Authority Decision regarding the protection of personal data of 8 May 2014 containing the “Simplified Arrangements to Provide Information and Obtain Consent Regarding Cookies” (hereinafter the “Decision”), and in compliance with current privacy legislation.

Your personal data will be stored in databases at the aforementioned Company office, or on the servers of our trusted suppliers who act as data processors, on European territory, i.e. within the countries of the European Economic Area in which contractual clauses approved for the secure transfer of data apply.
Types of data processed
Browsing data During normal operation, the IT systems and software procedures used in the operation of this website acquire certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols.
This information is not collected to be associated with identified individuals, but by its nature it could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.
This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given to the server (successful, error etc.) and other parameters related to the operating system and to the user’s computer environment.
These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information regarding site usage and to check that it is working correctly and are deleted immediately after processing. The data could also be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the website. With the exception of this case, at present, data relating to web contacts do not remain for more than seven days.
Data provided voluntarily by the user
The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mails to the addresses indicated on this site or the provision of data through the request forms on the site entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message.

Cookies
Cookies are small text files that websites send to the User’s terminal, where they are stored before being re-transmitted to the same sites the next time the user visits.
The Site uses::
- session cookies used to manage the authentication service instrumental to the reserved areas of the Site; authentication cookies will allow temporary storage of the username and password for access to the reserved area of the Site.

Cookies are not used for User profiling activities.

Optional nature of data provision
Apart from what is specified for browsing data, the user is free to provide personal data contained in the request forms present for the request for contact, information or other communications.

If a user contacts us asking to access their Personal Information or to delete it from our systems and records, in compliance with this Privacy Policy and legal obligations, we will proceed as far as possible to accommodate this request, within the set timescale.
We inform users that, however, due to technical constraints and system backups, even after being deleted, the user’s personal information may continue to reside for a certain period of time and on some of our systems.
The data controller reserves the right to refuse requests for access to or the erasure of Personal Information if the disclosure or erasure of the requested information is not permitted by law.
